Kosovo Insurance Association Director Sami Mazrek considers these alarming figures.

According to him, this percentage of unregistered vehicles is causing serious damage to insurance companies operating on the Kosovo market.

He asks the Ministry of Internal Affairs to clear unregistered vehicle lists in the system.

There are 355 thousand vehicles that are secured and registered in Kosovo each year. 30 percent of them do not have valid insurance in Kosovo, which is alarming. As far as health insurance is concerned, 3% of the population in Kosovo is secured”.

We've recommended the Ministry of Internal Affairs since last year to clear the list of unregistered vehicles in the system. There are over 110 thousand unregistered vehicles. To clear the database then focus our campaign”, he told EO.
