Yasar: I hope Kastrat is the last one to get school closure adventures.

The mayor of this municipality, Central Kastrati, has initiated reform to close this school, among 19 other schools.

On this issue the United Education, Science and Culture Union of the Republic of Kosovo (SBASHK) stands against this reform.

The chairman of this union, Nundman Jasharaj in an interview for the Online Economics, remains in the hope that Kastrat will be the last one to take such adventures as he calls for school closure.

I wish Kastrati to be the last to take such adventures of closing schools without becoming a country-level decision, and without all questions being clarified”, he said.

According to Jasaw, students at Busavata School have been denied the right to receive textbooks. And this, Jasharaj says it was done because of the disobedience to Kastrati's reform.

The bad news is that our country's textbooks with our contribution were not given to students of this school. This was done considering a non-legal school according to Kastrati. Perhaps he considers it because they ignore his idea. Once again, the mayors don't make such adventures because it's easy to close schools. We cannot allow a teacher who has worked for 30 to 40 years to be told simply to close the job and get on the street”, Jasharaj stressed.

Jasharaj further reminds Kastrat that by the time he was running for the mayor of the Kamenica municipality, he had promised to be a leader of all, so it must be for the inhabitants of Busavata.

“Castrat, when running for chairman, has said it is all, he must also be of the Busovata villagers I'm not saying there's political interference, but the mayor of Kamenica must know it's all.”, the SBASK chairman has said.

Another problem, he says, is that students in this school have trouble going to a school in Kamenica.

And the other thing is that they were in a mountainous field where getting up to Camenica is hard to raise and leave for the kids anymore. I hope Busavata's school won't be affected the way it is, because it's hard to travel 100 or how many students every day from there to Kamenica”, he stressed.

Jasharaj, says Kastrati initially to establish confidence in the opinion, had stated that he would close only those schools that are with only 1 students, but that, according to him, the opposite proved.

“Initially stands for a belief in the opinion, it said it would close schools with 1 students and there could be no one against it because it's natural that the school that only a student has not been kept open, but that student carries where there's more friends, but it turned out something else, that even Krileva's school and other schools were not with one student but were with 50 and more and 14x1>, Jasharaj said, adding that this issue should be raised at the site after the formation of institutions.

Jasharaj believes the Ministry of Science and Technology will point the point.

“We have a support to the MAST idea that this school will not be closed, children from the first grade to the fifth that are too small to remain in their village schools and that if there is only to be done then children from grade six to ninth to travel to Kamenica, given the fact that it is difficult to travel by miles by bus the child who is of the first class”, Jasharaj concluded.

Residents of Busavata and Kamenica Krilev, days ago protested before the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology ( MAST) against reform initiated by Chairman Central Kastrati for the closure of four schools in this municipality.
