Vuciq: Trying to compromise, frozen conflict is not a solution

He said compromise with Pristina is the condition of the European Union for Serbia's road towards the big European family.

“If we don't reach a compromise with Pristina, which is a condition for progress on the road to the EU, then it remains “within itself in its key””, Vuciq said, responding to the media question about the EU's decision not to provide green cydrides for northern Macedonia and Albania.

The “does not depend on us, or even Pristina”, Vuciq said.

Asked whether the dialogue with Pristina is simply with the intention of recognising Kosovo, Vuciq said every day he hears him call a traitor.

“I think we should talk and try to reach a compromise, as we cannot pretend that the frozen conflict is a good solution”, he said.
