Central Election Commission Chairman Valdete Daka has said that the names of commissionors trying to do any manipulation on Election Day will be sent to the prosecutor.
So she said on the Election Magazine show in Klan Kosova, adding that about 35 thousand accredited observers will be everywhere in Kosovo monitoring the election process.
“To the candidate vote we have seen that within a political subject there was an unrealistic race where commissionors have distorted the candidates' results. We as the CEC have done what we have in our power, made criminal statements and sent them to the prosecutor”.
We removed those commissionors who were involved in irregularities. Again, this time we're going to send to the prosecutor boxes that we suspect are inconsistent at the first moment the box is coming.
We won't expect them to be confirmed if they're correct or not we'll automatically send them to the prosecutor. We will not allow any distortion of the outcome, either to parties or to candidate”.
And since 2010, we've been sending thousands of criminal charges. The great majority of them are convicted, some have served prison sentences and paid high fines”.
I'm addressing everyone that on election day we're not going to compromise and all those commissionors who've tried to do any manipulation, we're going to be sending names to prosecutor”.
“As far as monitoring is concerned, we don't have many monitors, but we have 35 thousand accredited observers who on election day will be everywhere in Kosovo. They all have a goal of monitoring on Election Day. They will be present throughout the entire process”.
