Washington is not interested in military involvement in the conflict the Kurdish rebels and Turkey are developing in northern Syria. The battle between the parties has been described as the European Union's conquest, while the balance of victims is approaching 300 days.
The United States insists it no longer wants to be a side of the battle between Kurdish and Turkish forces in Syria.
The Turkish operation “Peace Spring”, which entered on the third day and has so far left more than 10 civilians and about 280 Kurdish warriors killed, has forced tens of thousands of citizens to abandon residences and cities.
I've been trying to avoid this conflict that Kurds and Turkey have been following for three decades, but now it's time to withdraw from these ridiculous wars without end. We will fight where we are concerned and only to win. Turkey, Europe, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Russia and the Kurds have to solve the situation on their own and how they will deal with the captured warriors of I SIS, who have in their neighborhoods,” reacted to US President Donald Trump on Twitter.
The European Union and republican congressmen in the US are praising Turkey's punishment with sanctions, as the country according to them is acting as invaders, attacking even Kurdish-populated areas.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoan claims that taking control of a 30km corridor inside Syria would enable the establishment of refugee camps currently sheltered by Ankara.
The Turkish chief chief hardened his tongue Thursday, threatening to flood its 3.6 million refugees to the gates of the European Union if the latter continues to refer to Turkey as invaders.
Intensification of the conflict between Kurdish and Turkish forces is being condemned internationally, while the call for restraint and dialogue for both sides follows.
