Syrian President Bashar al-Assad called his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayip Erdogan a <x0jeddut” on his first visit to areas in the province of Idlib that have recently returned under Syria's control.
Syrian state media reported that Assad was among the Syrian soldiers on Idlib's territory.
Assad called Erdogan “a thief who stole factories, wheat and oil, and is now stealing territory”, most likely referring to a Turkish military attack in northeast Syria, the AP reports.
