Sheriff: Requesting full recount of votes, fighting for 7th term

The secretary of this party Bilal Sheriff, at a media conference, has submitted the data from several polls which have been recounted, where the first time the Initiative had zero votes, and after the recount, there had been up to 50 votes.

The Sheriff has mentioned the data from six polling locations where the Initiative was scored less votes than it actually had. He cited how at a poll in Drenas, there had been only 1 vote, while after the recount, he had received 50 votes.

We have information from our people that in many countries there is a deformity of the will of citizens. Also, in Drenas, the Form Initiative has had zero votes written since after the recounting there have been 34 votes for the Initiative, and this is in the village of Obria, from which comes our branch chairman Is Xhemajli. So they've gone so far that all the votes that his fellow villagers have given to the Initiative in one classroom bear another subject. Then, another box in Kacanic where the Social Democrat Initiative figures by zero, while after the recount the initiative has turned out to have had 21 votes. In Fushe Kosovo, the initiative in the form has had zero votes, until from the boxes after the recount has turned out to be 11 votes for the Initiative. Another box in Fushe Kosovo from zero votes as well, following the recount, has turned out to be 8 votes for the Initiative. We have a box in Gjilan, zero votes to 6 votes. When the tota tota of these votes meets, at six polling points it turns out that the Initiative has been damaged for 131 votes”, he said.

On the basis of these, the Sheriff says that it is not a mistake but a will to harm the Initiative.

He has also pressed charges against the Initiative commissioners that they have collaborated to distort the will of citizens.

If in 2010 there were industrial thefts, it turns out that an industrial theft was committed against the Initiative, so from industrial theft has gone into the material theft of the vote. It's not a mistake, because one, two votes may be wrong, but it can't be wrong 11, 34, 50. So it is seen here that it has been a will of some commissioners, unfortunately including the commissioners who have been appointed by the Initiative to co-operate in this action against the will of citizens, because there is no way that mistakes can be made when 34 votes are written zero, 50 written zero. It is not a mistake, but primarily a will to damage the” Initiative, he said.

The Sheriff has reiterated that the Initiative has passed the threshold, while the reason why they are seeking recounting all the locations is to get the 7th mandate as well.

“We are convinced whether there is readiness and will in Kosovo, demand that all ballot boxes be recounted in the function of truth, and nothing other than truth, the Initiative will receive the mandate of 7, because of the 6th term no discussion is made. We've known since the first day that the Initiative has received six mandates, 5.4 percent has, we fight that through the recount we get the 7th mandate. If it doesn't come through the recount process, through the process of complaints which are also preparing our own candidates, even the”, he said.

Even earlier, the Social Democrat Initiative has called for recounting of all locations.
