“Aprovation by the United States Senate of the protocol for North Macedonia's NATO membership emphasises US commitment to trans-Atlantic security and represents an important step forward in North Macedonia's progress towards membership in NATO”, Pompeo stressed.
“We strongly support the continued progress of northern Macedonia towards closer integration with the trans-Atlantic community. Yesterday's vote reaffirmed Macedonia's continued commitment to democratic principles, rule of law, contributions to peace and security throughout the region. We soon welcome Northern Macedonia as the country of 30 NATO members”, he said. / ATSH/
