PEP: Open Negotiations for Tirana, Skopje

PEPS ask the European Commission and the entire European family not to bring down the hopes of the two countries.

Although there is still much work to be done, the opening of negotiations remains the next natural step“, the paper says further.

“Citizens and especially young people in both countries deserve a European perspective, as it remains a source of motivation for these countries and the wider region, in order to continue reforms needed for implementation of the legal state, strengthening the judiciary, fighting corruption, improving neighbourly relations and guaranteeing the independence of the media“, the PEP letter is highlighted. /TCh/
