The disabled bodies of nine men were found on a street in Zitlali, in the southern Mexican state of Gerero.
Zitlala is near Chilapa, where the Rohos criminal group crashes over territory control with a rival group known as Ardilos.
The Gerero State Prosecutor's Office said today that those killed are members of the Rohos group, the AP reports.
Investigators found shells from an automatic rifle at the scene of the murder.
