About eight hours after the launch of the press conference, which was held in a conference hall in downtown Kiev, an agency representative was set up to announce the record.
The president, Zelensky, reacted by manifesting his surprise and confirming that he was a modest person and that he hated the celebrations.
The previous record was held by Belarusn President Alexander Lukashenko, with a press conference lasting more than seven hours, according to Ukrainian media.
Several hundred Ukrainian and foreign journalists approached Zelensky about a table.
