Matoshi: AKR to have three deputies

He has said the recount process has enumerated some irregularities, whose correction will bring positive results to this coalition.

In an interview for “The new age”, Mattosi, has estimated that for these manipulations someone has to assume responsibility.

Our “coalition has demanded that there be a total recount of the vote. This request has not been approved. However, the CEC has made a decision to recount several boxes in various municipalities. Many irregularities and injuries to our coalition are being observed and reported during this recounting. Their correction will certainly bring a more positive result for coalition A CR-NISMA- PD”

He has acknowledged that the coalition has expected better results from the 6 October elections.

“We are convinced that we have been part of the Assembly on Sunday and October 6th, based on votes that are in the ballot boxes. Despite that our coalition will be in the Assembly, I have to stress that this outcome was not what we expected as political subjects”.

We understand that this whole process is taking a little longer than necessary, but the good of this work is that the recount process is being strictly conveyed by representatives of all political subjects, foreign observers, prosecutors, investigators, etc. All this is a more hope for a clean electoral process and, likewise, measures expected to be taken against civil will abusers will be a good sign for future election processes”.

Matoshi has also spoken of the number of MPs the AKR will achieve in the Assembly if this coalition exceeds the election threshold.

According to him, in the highest legislative body it would have three deputies.

I believe AKR-Nisma - The DP has passed the established threshold for representation in the Assembly. Based on the results we now have, we expect the AKR to be represented by three deputies in the new composition of the Kosovo Assembly”.
