According to him, citizens have voted on 6 October the two same opposition parties, which he says amounts to over 50% of the mandates in the Assembly, enough to form the new government.
Hoti has also stressed that LDK and VV have agreed to have only 12 ministries in order to save millions of euros.
He has indicated that at next meetings he will discuss order, security law, education and health.
Here is full status:
There is no procrastination in reaching a co-governance agreement between LDK and LVV. Citizens on October 6th have demanded change, voting two opposition parties almost the same, which together reach over 50% of the mandates in the Assembly, enough to form the new government. We're working on agreeing to a government programme that reflects this will of citizens.
So far we've agreed on the size and organisation of Government, which will have only 12 ministries that will save millions of euros and increase governance efficiency. We've discussed the economic development and employment program on the sea and we've agreed on most issues.
At meetings next day, we continue discussions on order, law and security, education and health, then on foreign policy.
I'm convinced we can close the deal once the election results are certified. Besides, we won't waste time in establishing new institutions.
All these discussions we are holding transparently as far as topics are concerned and people who are conducting discussions, a practice that has not been implemented in the political scene.
