Despite Serbia's efforts, the discussion of Kosovo's territory could be avoided by the future government.
Awareers of political circumstances in the country stress that Kosovo should use the moment to reject a dialogue with Serbia, which could include negotiations on the border lines.
Since for reaching an agreement on the dialogue with Serbia is being cited as a condition of mutual recognition, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic said days ago that he will not recognise the state of Kosovo at the current borders, thus alluding to the idea of changing border lines.
Kosovo's own president, Hashim Thaci, has been the idea of correcting the borders.
That is also not the case with the United States of America, which points out that it will give the green light to the discussion if there is compatibility between the parties, writes the paper “Zri”.
In fact, according to the Serbian media, such an idea has contributed to the appointment of American Ambassador to Germany Richard Grant as the special emissary for dialogue, which they think would convince Germany not to reject the idea of correcting borders.
