“Foundation Procurory in Prizren, announces the public opinion that translators' claims of the Astrit Dehar case expertise report are not true and are due to public responses regarding the quality of translation.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren provides public opinion that translators have been given into translation all documentation coming from the Swiss Institute of Legal Medicine in Lozanne”, the prosecution says at the announcement.
The Prosecution's full announcement:
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren reports the public opinion that translators' claims of the Astrit Dehar case expertise report are not true and are due to public responses regarding the quality of translation.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren provides public opinion that translators have been given into translation all documentation coming from the Swiss Institute of Legal Medicine.
For the sake of correct and accurate information of the opinion, the translator has accepted a separate report. After receiving the report translated into Albanian by the translator, the prosecution noted that page 14 on which the conclusions were involved was not translated into Albanian.
The previous page number 13 contains conclusions with the signing of two authors, while the last page, No.14, contains conclusions from the two reports signed by three authors, and we believe that the translator has been launched from page 13 thinking that the report ends. The translator himself has stressed that he has accepted the 14 - page report. The 14th page of the report has been absent from translation into Albanian, and upon observing this fact the Prosecution has asked the translator to immediately translate the 14th page to complete the report and submit it to both languages. (You can also see two pages of the French report attached to this communiqué on this clarification.
For all of these, the prosecution has all the evidence that the translator has accepted all the completed material along with the conclusions that have been on page 14.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren calls for not to be manipulated by opinion, as well as not to be told false and biased things which could negatively affect the case in question.
