This decision has come after irregularities found and published in the audit report by the Counting and Results Centre (QNR).
EU monitors are closely following the 530 deployment process.
CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has shown all the reasons for the recount as he divided them into all five categories.
“From the audited results there are 149 locations in which candidates' votes do not match with political subject votes due to technical error in the form of political subjects' results. During the audit, it turns out that 24 locations have a technical problem of notification of the number of balloting, lack of pages or results are unclear. Of the findings from the audit results in 81 locations at these locations there are no votes in the political subject, but there are candidates/Candidians. At 89 locations, during the audit, it has been noted that the candidate has more votes than the political subject. In 187 polling results in candidates having more votes than political subject”, he said.
