US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Costett has met with Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti. According to the VVI's statement, Costett has already congratulated the election process on its progress in fighting corruption, economic development, and has spoken of dialogue with Serbia.

At a friendly meeting, Ambassador Costet expressed his satisfaction with the prosperity of the election process, high citizens' participation, and congratulated Chairman Kurti on a campaign addressing voter concerns. He showed particular interest in anti-corruption progress, the economy, and progress in dialogue with Serbia, towards reaching a comprehensive agreement that would bring stability and lasting peace to the region.
For his part, President Kurt assured Mr. Costett will be prime minister for all Kosovo citizens. He announced the ambassador that Kosovo's internal consolidation with democratic statehood, rule of law, economic development and social progress is a priority to implement, since the needs of citizens and their will expressed in this election was a priority.
