The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has failed to hold the first meeting for today.
Valmir Elez, spokesman for the CEC, has said the meeting was postponed for tomorrow (Saturday) morning after we had not prepared all the necessary materials.
He has also announced that he is expected to complete the voting recount process over the next week.
“The CEC has decided to go back to recounting 314 ballot boxes, the process that started during yesterday, and I believe that for the next 4-5 days we will be able to recalculate”.
“55 locations have been counted until noon, while 32 of them are published”, Elez said.
Elez has suggested that after the completion of the recount process, the number of votes from the diaspora, the conditional ones and the votes of persons with special needs will continue.
