According to Serbian media, MPs will ask Borrell to be declared even regarding the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
During the hearing, which will last three hours, the former Spanish foreign minister will be asked about plans regarding the continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.
If you take the green “ ” of the European Parliament, Borrell, among other things, will take the role of a major EU mediator in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

In Brussels it is said that Borrell could also appoint a special EU representative solely on this issue.
Currently it is not known when this can happen, or whether Borrell will announce such an act during the hearing in Parliament on Monday.
With the election of Josep Borrell as EU foreign minister, the negotiation process and normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina would receive for the first time a mediator coming from a country that does not recognise Kosovo's independence.

Otherwise, he must take over on November 1st the post of chief of European diplomacy.
