Political issue acquaintance Mazlum Baraliu has said that the failure to negotiate Albania's membership in the European Union is in serious crisis.
He made these comments on the Info Magazine show in Klan Kosova, adding that the EU is using double standards when it comes to the issue of integration of Western Balkan countries.
This was a disunition within the European Union. Now there are two main currents that have surfaced, even Merkel, publicly said it is for opening negotiations for Albania. France was against”.
This decision is more harmful for processes within the EU than for Albania and North Macedonia”.
“These two states are the most pro-European in the Balkans, and the fact that there was no decision to start membership negotiations is regrets. I think there is no Eurocentrist politics within the EU that will study the consequences of these” actions.
This is unworthy and derogatory for these two states because this avaz is so pushed up whenever new leaders come they say you have the European perspective and that's a joke. Uncoordinated activities within the EU; they must heal themselves and improve”.
“The EU with one sentence is in crisis and the crisis is serious. Now many countries like Great Britain, Hungary, Poland, Greece, Italy and Spain have dilemmas whether or not they will be in this system”.
“has serious internal crisis in the EU. True, President Makron requires a preliminary reform for integration. This is a wrong attitude because in the first place they must heal inside”.
Baraliu has said that among European Union member states, there are serious and conceptual problems. According to him, Germany and France are simply in an operational co-operation and cannot harmonise their actions.
That reform France is seeking is conservative attitudes. They cannot demand extravagant standards that are not found within the EU either. In the EU, they have accepted less prepared countries than Albania and Northern Macedonia”.
“have accepted candidacy for Serbia, which has serious problems. While double standards are committed to Albania and Macedonia. There is also unfair action against Kosovo for not giving visa liberalisation”.
