Valmir Elez has said that 80% of the locations have been recounted so far, until the rest will be completed during today.
The “by midnight Monday has been recounted by 253 locations from 314 to the total number of those for which the CEC has decided. So 80% of the deployments have been recounted and we're planning on recalculating the rest of the deployments, 61 seconds, to be completed during today's”, Elez has announced.
Last week, the Central Election Commission made a decision to recount 314 seats. 10 of these locations were decided to be fully counted because during the investigations at the QNR, it was found to be missing candidates' votes and missing several pages of results forms, and some of them lacked the signatures of members of the Local Council, while another 304 seats were set to be recounted too fully, due to a technical error in the form of results of political subjects, which made the votes of subjects not marked in the relevant address, and therefore, inconsistent between the votes and the candidates.
