But in general, police say this process has gone well and without any major incidents, Klan Kosova reports.
Kosovo's “Police successfully realised the operational plan for the management of the election process, aimed at providing security, as well as maintaining order, calm and public security in the pre-long country, and after the election process on the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo”, it is said in their communiqué.
“Piece of the police plan has also been the initiative and prosecution of every criminal act against the right to vote and the enterprise of all procedure/penal measures against anyone that conflicts with the country's laws, which sanction illegal acts against free and democratic elections”.
“Referenced official information has been counted several cases of various natures that have resulted in the arrest of 29 people who relate to the election process cases, with 23 persons being detained under the decision of competent State Prosecutors”.
“Vlen points out that the security aspect in general has passed smoothly and without major incidents, which in one way or another have not affected the management of the election process”.
Kosovo's “Police remain committed to ensuring constitutional order, creating a safe and secure environment for all citizens, including protection of human rights in general until the end of the entire elections process”.
