We wait for the tender selection during mid-January for the first stage of 1.9 kilometers. We have decided to go into two stages to save time and to have economic activity immediately. The rest will be 10.4km, where by May we must complete the document”, Zaev said, reports news.
He added that the amount of the project would reach 120m euros, but that the final estimate would be according to final tenders.
The importance of building this highway, as did Prime Minister Zaev himself, is related to the growth of Macedonia-Kosovo trade economy, which in 2011 was <x0.0m euros worth 420m euros, and in 2016 about 212m euros”.
Otherwise, in September 2015, former Economy Minister Bekim Neziri had said: the Pristina <x0-2-2 will have a highway that will be built by the Blace crossing and also we in Macedonia have already prepared by the end of the year will have to complete the project on how much the Skopje-Blace road will cost and thus will be linked to Albania”, Neziri had said, the project promised by the Democratic Union for Integration since March 2014.
