According to him, Kosovo, but Serbia must act and make decisions which contribute to good neighbourly relations and improved reports between Pristina and Belgrade.
Lajcak says the parties should stop all actions that could spur interethnic tensions, referring to the decision to establish the Kosovo Republic Army, tanug writes.
Lajcak says his state has made clear the position for the establishment of the Kosovo Army, saying the EU and NATO have reacted sharply to this issue as well.
In this interview, Lajcak has also spoken of the idea of exchanging territories between Kosovo and Serbia, saying Slovakia does not support such an initiative.
“Slovakia does not support the idea of exchanging territories and marking border lines along ethnic lines. We believe that such a concept was not real in the past either, and it would not be like that in the future”, the Slovak minister added.
According to him, the details are what would better clarify the situation, so as soon as an agreement is reached, it will be seen whether there will be more benefits or the opposite. /Express/
