Shala has said that the Ministry of Commerce supports Prime Minister Haradinaj's position on the remaining 100 per cent tax on products of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Kosovo government takes responsibility for its decisions. As for the tax, we support Prime Minister Haradinaj on whatever decision the Kosovo Government has made to”, Minister Shala said on Thursday, for Inseder.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj during his visit to the Kosovo Privatisation Agency (AKP) on Wednesday declared the tax is not about America, but about Serbia and Russia.
We remove it today if there is agreement for recognition, but not in February, but we may never remove it if Serbia is ready to recognize us. This has to do with America concerns Russia and Serbia”, Haradinaj said.
The US has urged the Government of Kosovo immediately to remove taxes on the contrary it will not support the KSF in building capacities, but support would be reduced to other spheres.
