Pristina municipality civilian servants strike

In recognition of the wage bill, the Pristina municipality civil servant today will enter the strike, which the strike is expected to last until the realization of their demand for the cofficiency to increase by 40 per cent. And from tomorrow all civilian servants in Kosovo will go on strike at [...] request.
This has been made known to the US Council of Civil Servants of the Pristina Community through a media communiqué, in which they reportedly feel discriminated against in the wage bill.
“The Pristina municipality civil servants are unhappy with this bill and have formed the strike Council, expressing dissatisfaction with this bill because they feel discriminated against. The strike council, founded by civil servants, based on the law on capital, the volume of jobs, the complexity of jobs and risklessness, has put forward the demand for the establishment of the cofficiency for 40 per cent more than is envisioned in the peace bill in the Republic of Kosovo”, the media community said.
This request has been addressed to the head of this municipality, Shpend Ahmeti, the Ministry of Public Administration, SPAK and the Commission for drafting the draft law. For the same issue, according to the communiqué the US Council has met 5 times with the co-ordinator for state reform, Besnik Tahiri.
