The polumbars have ceased searching for the body of a three - day fisherman in Lake Pogradec to resume their search tomorrow.
In the early morning hours of December 31, 2018, fisherman Gezim Seitlar of the age of 53 has gone fishing to harvest the new year's crust but has not returned.
Reporter Laurena Kodra reports to “BalkanWeb” that Gezim Seitlar from Meltish was not a licensed fisherman, but went out from time to time to fish because of difficult economic conditions. The lake waves are thought to have been the cause of the breach of his boat, as there were many waves in the lake those days. The families alarmed by his delay have appeared at about 09:30 in the morning of December 31st to search for him.
Unable to find them, they've turned to the police who've started searching for them for just a few hours after the lake had waves. A police boat showed up on January 1st afternoon looking for the fisherman, but without result, while today it was residents of the village who called the media to make the news public because, according to them, the police didn't make a proper search.
My uncle's son shows the long hours of their waiting to find the body. Turmed with police, he stresses that only the publishing of news in the media was possible even the arrival of police to the scene, as research has been scarce compared to their expectations. /BalkanWeb/
