Hoxha contradictions from Mitrovica, Fatmir Latifi, who is known for his serious statement on many issues, has at last acknowledged that Turkey had very clear goals for assimilated Albanians. He has made it known by telling a story about Albanian reborn Rexhep Voka, the Metro newspaper broadcast.
He relates an event that had taken place for Albanian Reinstallee Rexhep Voka, from Tetovo, where Turks had asked him to give up Albanian nationality and declare Turkish.
“Hoxha and re-installee Rexhep Voka had sought help from the Turkish Embassy in Belgrade, due to the plight of Albanians in Macedonia. Turkey's embassy had conditioned the assistance for all Albanians to declare Turks. But reborn Rexhep Voka, had flatly rejected the Turkish's controversial offer, says Hoxja Fatmir Latifa.
