Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has called on teachers from tomorrow to resume the education process, as he says there is no way to raise more salaries for them.
The head of the government, while speaking of the SBASK strike, said that if it were in his will, it would raise the teachers' salaries even more, but that according to him, that's all the odds.
During yesterday's evening, Haradinaj had indicated there would be an increase of about 20m euros for teachers' salaries, however, the SBASK has not interrupted the strike.
Well, they're the ones who sat down with the discussion, the Union, the strike council, all of you with insight into what's been saying that maybe they didn't have time to absorb what happened well yesterday. That's good news for education, I think the best one that could have come to you. I think we all deserve a thank-you for a serious commitment, for taking care of requests and starting with tomorrow's lesson. How will it happen if we catch it at the end of this month the law on wages without change can be voted and then they have to go back to work that they can't without borders, they have lost many days of learning. So, they should think about the responsibilities they have in the country, we were willing to increase them, but the realities are these in the country, we have no choice further, and the possibility that exists has been used”, Haradinaj said.
Last night Haradinaj has indicated that for high school teachers the salary has increased from 523 to 597.8 euros, which accounts for 74 euros in increases from the current salary. For primary education from 479 to 525.8 euros, the increase is 46 euros. For teachers in pre-school education from 447 to 501.9 euros, growth of 54 euros. And the number of teachers is about five thousand for middle education.
