On November 27th of the year we left after the four mayors of northern municipalities have offered resignations from these posts in protest against imposing a 100% tax on products from Serbia.
They have already passed all legal deadlines for reviewing these resignations, but the Legal Office at the Ministry of Management of Local Power has not yet ruled whether to accept these resignations or not, writes the paper “Voice”.
Despite the lack of decision by MAPL, the Kosovo government estimates the resignations cannot be accepted, as Serb mayors of these municipalities have referred to the Republic of Kosovo as “Kosovo and Metohija” in resignation.
