Second semester for the academic year begins on February 18th. That same date begins the FSHN boycott. As the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences Council reports, this decision is due to ignoring the requirements for building an object that would meet the conditions for adequate studies.
“We as students together with professors seek to build the new object, because the situation in the current object is miserable. For decades now we've been forced to hold all the lessons in the basements of the Faculty of Philology, mold-covered spaces, in terrible conditions, and sometimes in a lack of light.
Since other legal forms are not enough for our country to give us concrete solutions, neither are we enough of their empty promises. Thus, we are forced to exploit the boycott as a last resort, not favourable for us, but always less harmful than continuing studies in a building where, in addition to today's health risk, tomorrow does not look bright.
The Boykot will continue until concrete solutions are offered to requirements that for relevant institutions are most known”, the Council of Faculty of Mathematics-Natural Sciences reported.
