Connection of critical writers to media: Much News and Little Space for Us

In a debate organised today by the League of Kosovo Writers on the subject “The writer and media” were told that the recent writer has limited space for work publication.

According to representatives of this link, the media have fallen into the hands of businessmen, thus overshadowing the role of literature

Writers League Chairman Shyqri Galica said that the writer feeds the medium and also plays a role in information.

“It is the writer, then, who feeds the medium even when it has an informative role and in the other artistic, fun. No doubt their reports are imidia and should always be seen in each other's function since in our circumstances, neither in literary creativity nor in the writer's presentation of public activity. Especially ignoring this second, like in the literary world, is not happening. Writers are silent, while the media act on some of the trial things that actually irritate the reader, the listener, and the viewer. The writer has limited space to publish his works, while his portrait remains anonymous to”, he said.

Galica, among other things, said that the media ignores the work that literature handles with such dedication.

Zeqir Bechelli, a member of the League, said that the story of the art of writing is far older than the media. He expressed disappointment with the media in Kosovo.

A number of media have fallen into the hands of businessmen, and they view this area only as business and don't cry at all about this artistic value. Another part of the media are in the function of interest groups or different political subjects and focus on serving them as well, because they exist there, while pursuing the activities of this nature is viewed in the lens of interest or layers, depending on which they belong to”, he said.

Beckolli said the media in Kosovo have little to do with what is public interest. He said the media put more dilemmas and divisions in public.

The media critic also expressed writer Albina Idrizi.

” The media can be very positive and potentially influence its influence, be a significant role in contributing to culture, affirm sensitive values, and awaken activities among young people. And in this way I can generate quality, being very promising of real value. Unfortunately, the writer remains the most unaware. Idriz also said he has lost sufficient attention to the true value.

The other member of the relationship, Bedri Halimi, said that I knew it could be obtained from the book, cannot be taken from the media.

Halimi said it's obvious that the number of readers has dropped, but not because they don't have time to read, but because of the publication of books with little artistic value by amateur authors, as he called them.
