The changing night of the years is viewed by many as the most important festival of the year. But a small Australian town has three reasons to celebrate.
Cameron Corner, which extends to the borders of Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia celebrate three times the New Year.
Because of its unique position, the city is located among three time zones of three countries, each one at a time of 30 minutes.
This means that residents on every New Year's threshold go to three different angles, and for every half an hour they count upside down to celebrate the night of the change of years.
The city has only two permanent residents, but at the end of the year large crowds are oversold to celebrate.
