Bosnia invites Kosovo to dialogue on tax waiver ?

After two months of taxing Serbian products and those from Bosnia and Herzegovina, it has invited the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to dialogue on the removal of 100 per cent measure to their products. Despite all-out pressure, the Kosovo government remains steadfast in its decision. Minister [...]
Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala has confirmed for Periscope that, as envisioned in the CEFTA agreement, Kosovo will respond positively to this invitation, which is envisioned for next week.
However, Minister Shala shows that institutional leaders will not go for talks, but only professional staff usually going to CEFTA meetings.
As you see the CEFTA's deal, there's a presumption in case there's a problem on one side. Bosnia has officially requested consultations with the Republic of Kosovo under the CEFTA. He has sent letters to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. We have professional staff taking them to CEFTA meetings. We responded positively. Our staff will hold the meeting with Bosnian representatives next week, Shala told Periscope.
He also makes it clear that despite this meeting, the tax on Bosnia will not be lifted.
Stafi will explain to them why the Republic of Kosovo has taken such measures and show that the move will continue to remain in force. Unless the reasons that have forced us as Government to make such a decision are eliminated, the minister is finished.
Bosnia and Herzegovina was sanctioned by the Kosovo government on reciprocity issues. This measure was taken because of obstacles to Kosovo businesses, as well as the failure of vehicles from Kosovo to enter Bosnian territory.
Despite pressure from Serbia, but also from Bosnia, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said he will remain steadfast in his decision.
Haradinaj estimated that Serbia, as the biggest importer, deserves the tax in response to the tough campaign against Kosovo's citizenship.
On the other hand, the U.S. and the European Union have also demanded that a 100 - percent tax be lifted urgently. However, the Kosovo government has also ignored international demand.
We remember that apart from Serbia, which does not want to recognise Kosovo, neither Bosnia and Herzegovina has done anything in this direction./Periscopi/
