Russian President Vladimir Putin, has boasted of the spirit of St. Patterson on the 75th anniversary of the end of the World War II siege of Leningrad, where more than 800,000 people reportedly remained.
Earlier in the day, tanks and air defence missile systems passed through the heart of St Petersburg, formerly known as Leningrad, while thousands of people gathered there to watch the performance in the snow, Klan Kosova reports.
The parade in Russia's second largest city was made of the most heavy and modern artillery, including the renowned T-34 battle tank and missile systems, which passed through the Hermitage Museum to mark the end of the Leningrad siege.
