While in the United States, today was a very special day, since I was invited to work lunch at the University of Virginia's Residence of the First Lady, Pamela Northam, where the Secretary for Education was present in Virginia State, Mr. Atif Crease, as well as Deputy Secretary of Higher Education Mrs. Fran Bradford.
During conversations held during this work lunch, which was characterized by a spirit of high friendship besides friendly topics, we also discussed issues that concern the education sector in Kosovo, where a high will of the first lady of Virginia and Secretary of Education to support and exchange experiences was expressed.
A special day on a special visit. These days, when I am visiting the second house of Kosovo and us Albanians wherever we are, the United States, from day to day I am realizing that we will become not only subject to international law but also an example of development for the region. The friends we have, the friendship they feel by understanding Kosovo of many problems and Albanians of broken history. That motivation I received at the State Department familiarizes me with the warm, warm family reception, even though Virginia State residence where the first lady of this country received many friends.
The first lady of the state of Virginia gave us the warmth of being real friends, willing to find us on the road ahead, in education and economics, in building the rule of law and whatever they can do for us. In a word, our friends want to give us the opportunity to achieve the construction of a functional and developed society. Especially impressed we were, and the presidential room through which the makers of the new world had gone from Washington onward and the names of world policy where the skychille, followed by anyone who had left a trail in making the free world. For a moment if I was to say “we're going to be with such standards and with such awareness“! I already believe, because we have great, good friends.
Thank you for the first lady of the state Virginia, thank you to the Secretary of State for Education, to welcome the honor you have done to us, and to respect and love the state and the people of Kosovo. We're grateful to you and the United States for your life.
