Yesterday in Gjakova, a woman reported to the police that she was violated by a man.
The suspect has been arrested by the police and, by order of the prosecutor, has been sent to the detention.
In the police report, the victim was reportedly sent to the IML for examination.
We remember that in the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova, only during August 2018 alone, 12 cases described as domestic violence have been admitted, reports Koha.net.
Meanwhile, shortly after the serious case, dated August 7th in Gjakova's Brecoc neighbourhood, with the murder of wife Valbona Mark-Norecaj and their nine-year-old daughter by alleged author Peter Ndjetaj, the Anti-Tunna Family Mechanism met in Gjakova.
From that day, in Gjakova, Pristina and many other cities protested against violence against women, mainly with the motto “Boll Mo”.
