Albania's football selector, Christian Panucci, has reshaped the indictment against former Albanian President Bujar Nishani.
The first indictment was rejected by the court that it was unfair. This time, Judge Anila Karanza has correctly ascertained Panucci's indictment and has given the indicted side 30 days, former president of the Republic Bujar Nishani, to prepare defence and present his evidence. Once the two parties in the process have each brought their evidence and legal arguments, a date for the court hearing will be set.
Panucci's indictment of Nishani has to do with a Nisan response after the Kosovo-Albania friendly match, at which Albania was defeated with a score of 3 to 0.
After this match, Nishani reacted with a statement on social networks, naming coach Panucci as a charlatan who also destroyed what had been set up. For this response to the former president, the national coach requires 100,000 euros in damages to the moral damage caused to his public image, tch broadcasts.
This is the first precedent that national football coach is seeking such compensation for reactions by people of politics or former senior head of state, following the national team's loss.
