Opposition call on borders, Parliament Chief Meetings Tomorrow

The head of the Kosovo Assembly will meet tomorrow to discuss the request to keep the extraordinary session, in which parliamentary debate will be held over Kosovo's president's commitments to the involvement of “territory” or “border correction” in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. Opposition parties LDK, Vetevendosje and PSD have submitted last week the requirement for holding the extraordinary session on 4 September. The resolution is expected to be adopted in this session, which prevents President Thaci from negotiating with Serbia on territory.
The three opposition parties have initiated holding this session after the president's statements of border correction.
The resolution, which is expected to be introduced at this session, has only one point: “that no one has the right to negotiate and violate the territory of Kosovo”.
