New Mexican President Andreas Manuel Lopez Obrador (64) has avoided answering the journalist's questions, so he kissed newspaper reporter “on the page. El Mexicano”
He has been sharply criticised after being published in the video footage opinion in which he sees himself kissing the reporter on the page who asked him a question.
This occurred on September 20th in the Mexican state of Central California, during its national tour organised prior to its inauguration on December 1st, the AP broadcasts.
Video footage shows how the reporter of El Mexicano Laurena Garcia asked questions about the elections for government to be held next year, in which Obrador laughed, turned around and kissed her on the cheek without answering the question asked.
The journalist later stated that she considers his move to be “inappropriate”.
Obrador has also been criticised long ago because two journalists have been addressed with the dear “” when they tried to ask questions through the open windows of his car.
Obrador has been elected to new president of Mexico in July this year, while on December 1st he will take office.
