State Chief Prosecutor Aleksandar Lumezi has asked the Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor to begin investigations into any official if he has committed any criminal acts in case of publishing veterans' lists.
The “Office of the chief state prosecutor has demanded that preliminary investigations be launched to verify any action of official persons in the prosecutorial and judicial system, as well as of officials or other persons outside these systems, if the same have committed criminal acts in the case of publishing the names of persons involved in veterans' lists or war members of the KLA”, it is said in a statement by the chief prosecutor's office.
A few weeks ago, a list of veterans allegedly faked where people who were at war found the name among those lists.
