At 12 o'clock tomorrow, at the Hall of Justice in Hyvali, peaceful protest will be held with the motto “Release of rescuers from prison for General Sylejman Selimi, Colonel Jarhir Demak and the Drenica Group”, who, according to protest organiser Arton Hoti, are being held unjustly in prison, without a decision now of three months. Hoti [...]
Hoti as co-ordinator of General Sylejman Selimi, says that tomorrow she has strong support from war associations.
According to him, the Drenica Group is continuing to remain in prison without any legal basis now for nearly four months.
Hoti in an interview for The KP, inviting citizens and fellow fighters to protest, hopes that citizens of Kosovo will largely come to protest because, according to him, General Sylejman Selimi has been the General Command of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

I call on all of Albania's people, all of our associates, families of martyrs, disabled and veterans to support us in protest. To seek the release that is being held unjustly, General Sylejman Selimi, Colonel Jahir Demaku, and all fighters as they are calling it “Drenica” Group, Hoti said.
He has called for responsibility from Kosovo institutions leaders, from President Thaci, from Prime Minister Haradinaj and Creparliamentary Wessel, to provide responsibility for why their co-ordinator Sylejman Selimi is being held in prison.
“I call all (heads) of the highest state institutions, the president of Kosovo, the prime minister, the prime minister, where are you? General Sylejman Selimi has been the main commander of the KLA. You were his fellow warriors, why are you silent? Tell us why she's staying in prison. If anyone agrees to have General Sylejman Selimi locked himself in prison, then arrest the entire liberation army”, he stressed.
Otherwise, on May 24, 2013, General Sylejman Selimi was arrested and convicted of a war crimes criminal offence against the civilian population by the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica on May 27, 2015, and was sentenced to 6 years in prison. While, on June 7, 2018, the retrial for “Drenica 2” was held on June 11th for “Drenica 1”. To that end, his lawyer, Tome Gashi, had said days earlier that without any legal rights, Sylejman Selimi has been held in prison for three months now.
