Haradinaj: I pledge to make Kosovo a place where every Albanian will pride himself

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has met with fellow countrymen in New York who have pledged that he will commit to making Kosovo a country, from which the Albanians and any other Albanians will feel proud.

Together, we discussed all of our journey as a people and the extraordinary contribution of the volunteers, associations and Atlantic Battalion to the liberation of Kosovo.

As a people, we've given a lot to be where we are. One of the sacrifices is our own diaspora.

As prime minister, I vowed to commit Kosovo to become a country from which Albanian Americans and any other Albanian will feel proud.

I vowed to always honor those who defeated this.
