Germany is looking for craftsmen and masters

Almost half of the companies have trouble finding staff. The number of registered free countries, according to the association's estimates, is at around 150,000, but is probably even higher.

According to ZHA, the reasons for this are that the number of professional young people has diminished, while there is a growing tendency to study.

The association requires German government reform double educational system in order to draw more young people back to learn trades.

Companies are frustrated by long expectations and by high-priced craftsmen, Klaus Michelson, from the German Institute for Economic Research, told reporters.
