The figures suggest one in five men, and one in six women will have the disease during their lifetime.
And as countries become richer, more people take cancers regarding their lifestyle rather than those related to poverty.
The International Cancer Research Agency (IARC) offers regular photos of cancer rates worldwide, looking closely at 36 different cancers in 185 countries.
