As he got off the plane, US Secretary Mattis was stumbled by soldiers who put up the red carpet while across the plane he found Sheryrinska and Ambassador Jess Baily running to meet him.
But this is not the first case. Days earlier, “Alsat” -- Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati's delegation was found in the Macedonian Assembly at almost a crossroads, without being hosted by Parliament head Talat Xhaferi.
The same scandal occurred during Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz's visit, where the government protocol confused the Austrian flag.
To ensure that services have not been mistaken, during German Chancellor Angela Merkel's visit to Skopje, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev personally verified the German flag.
