Avdullah Hoti speaks as candidate for prime minister: LDK to win two mandates

The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo parliamentary group, Avdullah Hoti, has declared that his party in some research, as it calls independent, is listed as the first party.

He has said the LDK is leaving other parties behind by a large margin.

Hoti LDK has named it the country's Guardian, saying they have protected Kosovo from the harmful actions of the Government and the President.

In some independent research this year, the LDK is getting the most support from citizens, with significant differences from the second party. The celebration is coming from all age groups and regions of Kosovo. Clearly, Kosovo citizens fully support LDK policies. We will advance our political actions to protect the state of Kosovo and the interests of citizens.

We have become Guardians of the state of Kosovo, preserving Kosovo from the evil actions of Government and President:

We have prevented Kosovo's expulsion from the European Quality Register because of the prime minister's illegal interventions. 

We have witnessed Kosovo's international isolation at the end of the past year. 

We have blocked several legal initiatives for the state of Kosovo and our democratic order. 

We've stopped the government from paying off tens of millions of euros of taxes owed by private enterprises. 

We have supported the demarcation agreement with Montenegro to pave the way for visa liberalisation. 

We're working very hard to stop including the field exchange area in dialogue with Serbia.

Unfortunately, throughout this legislature of the Kosovo Parliament, we have had to deal only with preventing the harmful actions of this perverse coalition. There's been a complete lack of debate on better health and education, employment for young people, budget growth and income, because this crooked coalition has no interest, no expertise, to deal with these issues.

Now we're working a lot with all the LDK structures, with the Council of Experts and independent experts, to prepare the program for the next eight-year government. We are getting ready to offer Kosovo a new model of government, a civil government, with people who have broad culture and expertise, with people who have civic support.

We are working to unify the political scene to form a broad political bloc that will lead Kosovo on the next two mandates.

We have intensified the debate with the LDK structures, with our electorate and with other citizens in the municipality to inform them and get their suggestions.
We will visit every municipality to seek support for our mission to democratise Kosovo and consolidate Kosovo's statehood in the international arena.
