LDK chief Isa Mustafa has been hosting his home today as ambassador to France and Italy. He says he talked to them about dialogue with Serbia and that foreign diplomats have asked for the active role of Mustafa's party.
Mustafa has written on Facebook that he has today met French Ambassador Didder Chabret and Italy's Pero Cristoforo Sardi.
Dialogue with Serbia, Mustafa writes, has been the main topic discussed with ambassadors.
The full story of Mustafa on Facebook.
Today, I had the pleasure of waiting on separate visits from France's ambassador, Mr. Didier Chabret and Italy's ambassador, Mr. Piero Cristoforo Sardi.
Two days ago, I also met Norway's ambassador, Mr. Strand Sjastad.
We discussed the recent political performance in Kosovo, the views and views of the LDK on dialogue and its role as the largest political party in Kosovo.
I expressed the LDK's clear position that only through dialogue can and issues should be resolved with neighbours and normalising relations with Serbia. That, the LDK is committed to the dialogue being developed by institutions that have political and constitutional legitimacy, which must emerge from early free elections. We established the need for this dialogue to be transparent, to have as broad accruement and involvement, to determine the format, content and objectives that need to be achieved.
We stressed that for the LDK it is unacceptable to apply the issue of borders as unacceptable as an association or other form of autonomy with executive competence.
The ambassadors showed their interest and their countries' readiness to support Kosovo on its Euro-integration path, an important part of which is the fastest normalisation of relations with Serbia, voicing the need for a more active LDK role.
Mr. Avdullah Hoti, head of the LDK parliamentary group and Mrs. Vlora Dymosh, member of Headship.
