Andree Brunson's lawyer, charged with terrorism in Turkey, said today he would appeal to the Turkish Constitutional Court for ruling the constitutional court in Izmir, which has rejected the request for the release of the American priest.
Once our request for Brunson's release is refused in writing, we will complain to the Constitutional Court, said lawyer Ismail Halavurt.
Brunson (50) is in prison on charges of spying, the Kosovo Press broadcasts.
American President Donald Trump has repeatedly sought his release, saying keeping the priest in prison is a shame.
