In any case, writes “Vecernje Novosti”, in northern Kosovo, is calm, but notes a tense situation, but at least for the time being there is nothing for Gazivoda hydropower station or Valac substation. And that was the information that made headlines yesterday in Serbia.

The entire area of Gazivoda Lake is 20 percent in Serbia, and 80 percent in the territory of Zubin Potok, Kosovo. The production of electricity and drinking water from Lake Badovci in Pristina directly depends on Gazivoda. Belgrade is engaged to have the entire “Gazioda” complex, in the future to be under the control of the Serb municipal community and Zubin Potoku ) on whose territory the dam, hydropower plant and part of the lake are located, relying on EU practices to manage these resources.
